--On my way to hell-- by ~Dauile:iconDauile:

The road was bright and beautiful,
Its end I could see as clear as day.
I turned and left
Because life down low
Was my home to be.
People loved, sang and dance.
I was never one of them.
I opened my eyes and saw,
I never understood their way of life.
I didn’t know why,
Nor would I learn,
I just didn’t fit.

Down here  I had friends,
Friends you couldn't see,
I’m free to wonder
And free without questions.
Without music it’s dull.
My ears need noise.
Light has sound, but doesn’t hear.
I need noise. Don’t want to be questioned.

A flash. The second after, I am back.
To this crowded place I'm afraid of.
But someone was calling my name.
The voice wouldn't leave,
I held on tight.

I was on my way to hell today
But you pulled me back to life.

I was inspired to rewrite a poem (that a friend wrote), the way I saw it. I said I would, but didn't. Until today I was inspired again by LQBYB and this time I wrote.

Original poem: http://art-spirit.skyrock.com/3.html

Side note: This poem has a hidden meaning to/ behind it. It is your job to see if you can work it out. ;)
